How Bluetooth Works

How Bluetooth Works

Bluetooth devices will normally operate at 2.4 GHZ in the license free, globally available ISM radio band.  The advantage to this band includes worldwide availability and compatibility.  A disadvantage to this however, is that the devices must share this band with other RF emitters.  This includes automobile security systems, other wireless devices, and other noise sources, such as microwaves.

To overcome this challenge, Bluetooth employs a fast frequency hopping scheme and therefore uses shorter packets than other standards within the ISM band.  This scheme helps to make Bluetooth communication more robust and more secure.

Frequency hopping
Frequency hopping is basically jumping from frequency to frequency within the ISM radio band.  After a bluetooth device sends or receives a packet, it and the device (or devices) it's communicating with hop to another frequency before the next packet is sent.  This scheme offers three advantages:

    1.  Allows Bluetooth devices to use the entirety of the available ISM band, while never transmitting from a fixed frequency for more than a short period of time.  This helps insure that Bluetooth conforms to the ISM restrictions on the transmission quantity per frequency.

    2.  Ensures that any interference won't last long.  Any packet that doesn't arrive safely to its destination can be resent to the next frequency.

    3.  Provides a base level of security as it's very hard for an eavesdropping device to predict which frequency the Bluetooth devices will use next.

The connected devices however, must agree upon the frequency they will use next.  The specification in Bluetooth ensures this in two ways.  First, it defines a master and slave type relationship between bluetooth devices.  Next, it specifies an algorithm that uses device specific information when calculating the frequency hop sequences.

A Bluetooth device that operates in master mode can communicate with up to seven devices that are set in slave mode.  To each of the slaves, the master Bluetooth device will send its own unique address and the value of its own internal clock.  The information sent is then used to calculate the frequency hop sequences.

Because the master device and each of the slave devices use the same algorithm with the same initial input, the connected devices will always arrive together at the next frequency that they have agreed upon.

As a replacement for cable technology, it's no wonder that Bluetooth devices are usually battery powered, such as wireless mice and battery powered cell phones.  To conserve the power, most devices operate in low power.  This helps to give Bluetooth devices a range of around 5 - 10 meters.

This range is far enough for wireless communication but close enough to avoid drawing too much power from the power source of the device.

Introduction To Bluetooth

Introduction To Bluetooth

Bluetooth was designed to allow low bandwidth wireless connections to become easy to use so even those who are new to wireless can use them.  Version 1.1 of  Bluetooth describes a low power, short range wireless networking technology that uses radio waves to send data at rates up to 720 kilobits a second.

The specification for Bluetooth provides for different classes of radio that allow transmission ranges of up to 100 meters by boosting the radio power.  The technology of Bluetooth isn't limited to line of  sight transmission since it uses directional waves that are capable of transmitting through many
obstructions.

Bluetooth is an industry standard communication of wireless, meaning that it enables the connection of other devices as well, such as cell phones, computers, digital cameras, and other types of electronic devices.  The specification of Bluetooth defines a radio system and a "stack" of protocol  layers and profiles.  The highest layer is the application layer, while the lowest layer is the radio.

The wireless technology of Bluetooth is positioned to revolutionize the personal connectivity market by providing freedom from inconvenient fixed type lines.

The specification for Bluetooth eliminates the need for cables by providing a small form factor, low cost wireless solution that will link computers, cell phones, and other electronics.  Bluetooth also allows users to connect many ranges of devices quickly and easily and expands communications capabilities as well.

The size of the Bluetooth radio is amazing, as a Bluetooth radio can be built into one or two very small microchips then integrated into any electronic device where wireless operations would be an advantage.

Bluetooth also offers a robust link, which ensures that normal operating circumstances are not interrupted by interference from other signals that are operating in the same frequency band.

Also known for its worldwide operation, Bluetooth radio operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, which is license free and available to any type of radio system in the world.  No matter where you are in the world, you count on Bluetooth to work.

Security is also important.  Offering advanced security mechanisms, Bluetooth ensures a high level of security.  Therefore, authentification will prevent unauthorized acess to important data and make it very difficult to listen in.

Bluetooth also boasts power optimization.  The radio is power friendly and the software for Bluetooth is very configurable, limiting the power consumption of equipment.  The radio itself only consumes a small amount of power from a cellular phone.

Computer Desktop Themes

Computer Desktop Themes

Customizing your desktop is easy and fun to do. You can change everything from the sounds that your computer makes, to the screensaver that shows up during inactivity. But that’s not all that you can customize. Everything from the colors of your windows to the font that displays a program name can also be changed. Your toolbar and icons can even be organized and personalized to your liking. It can truly do wonders for your computer experience.
Before you continue customizing your desktop, make sure that you backup any files that you are going to change, just in case it doesn’t work out and you want your old sound(s), wallpaper, icon, and whatever else you decide to change.
Setting your Desktop’s Theme
Customizing your desktop theme will liven up your computer, and provide a unique experience every time you use it. It just all depends on how much time and effort they put into making the desktop theme. I have seen some themes so detailed that everything from the icons, to the text are perfectly designed to match the theme. To begin customizing your desktop computer’s theme, read below.
1. First, right click on your desktop, and click properties.
2. You should now be under the Themes tab.
3. Now you can choose what Theme you want to use. If you have never added any themes before, then the default Themes should be the only ones there. If you search on the web for “free desktop themes” then you can find more for free. If you really want to get fancy, you should purchase Microsoft Plus! , which has a ton of themes specially made for Windows.
Customizing your Wallpaper
Customizing your desktop's wallpaper is pretty important. Your wallpaper is the color or picture that is currently showing on your desktop right now. Certain operating systems even allow live web content to show up on your desktop, so you can have streaming news, entertainment and whatever else you want. There are tons of free wallpaper’s available on the Internet, or you make your own using digital camera photos of your friends and family members. Learn how to change your wallpaper below.
1. First, close all programs and windows that you have open before you begin customizing your desktop wallpaper.
2. Then right-click on your desktop.
3. Select properties from the bottom of the pop-up menu. Then this will bring up the “Display Properties” window.
4. Click on the “Desktop” tab
5. Then you can choose a background already available on the list, or you can click the “Browse” button and choose an image that you have made or imported from a digital camera.
6. Now, click the position drop down menu, and choose the appropriate setting. Stretch is the best option since it will fit the image to the size of your screen.
7. Then you can click “Ok” if all is well.
Organizing and Customizing your Toolbar
When you install programs, they choose where they go in your start menu. If you are like me, you want your start menu organized and in separate categories so your programs will be easy to find. Well, to do this all you have to do is right-click on your toolbar and click on “Properties”. The properties menu will allow you to do whatever you want with your toolbar, and organize it how you like.
Your programs also have toolbars which can be customized, so you will have instant access to your most important options. When you open the program, select the “View” or “Tools” option from the programs toolbar, and look for something that says customize, options, or anything else along those line. It should be easy to figure it out from there on. Some programs are so easy to customize that you just have to drag and drop the options to the position and menu you want.
Changing Event Sounds
Whenever you click on something, delete something, refresh your desktop, or whatever with your mouse and keyboard, it can/will make a sound. Like I said before, every event possible can have any sound clip play when done. Keeping your original sounds like a clicking noise, beeps, and so on is kind of dumb since you really have an unlimited choice. Also, if your computer needs to accommodate the blind, when an error message comes up you can have a voice that says “Error Message” or something like that. So here is how you can begin customizing your desktop's sounds to what YOU want.
1. Go to your Control Panel in the toolbar.
2. Once you are in the control panel, click on “Sounds and Audio devices”.
3. Now click the “Sounds” tab in the window that pops up.
4. You will see sound entries like exclamation, default beep, asterisk, start windows, exit windows and other events that can happen on your computer.
5. Here is the fun part now. Using your sound recorder or browsing the web you can create or find sound files that you want to use. If you have some computer sound recording experience, you should know how to create your own sound files. The sound recorder can usually be found in your start menu, under the “Entertainment” section.
6. With your new sounds that you have created or found, you can return to the Sound and Audio device properties window.
7. Select a sound you would like to change from the list.
8. Click the Browse button, and find the sound file that you want to use for the corresponding event you have chosen.
9. Then just click “Ok” and continue changing the other sounds you want too. You are now done customizing your desktop computer's sounds.
Display Properties
Customizing your desktop computer’s display properties can change the look and feel of all your computer programs and desktop. Plus, customizing your desktop computer's display properties is just as easy as changing your wallpaper.
1. Right click on your desktop, and click “Properties”.
2. From here, you can change your Theme, Desktop, Screensaver, Appearance, and graphic settings. A theme is the overall look and feel of your computer and its programs. The desktop is the image or color that is displaying on your desktop. Your screensaver can be changed and be configured to come on when you want it to. The Appearance tab allows you to change the color and size of folder/program windows, and the font that displays there title.
3. The Settings tab is the most important in my opinion. You can change your screens resolution, color quality, and all of the options related to your graphics card. Setting the appropriate resolution is very important, and can determine how clear you see your PC’s text and graphics.
Customize your Folder Options
Another way of customizing your desktop is by changing your folder options. Your folder options range from the way that your videos and pictures appear, to whether or not hidden files or shown. It is very easy to do, so anyone can.
1. Open you’re My documents folder, or any other folder that you want too.
2. Now click on tools.
3. Then go down and click on “Folder Options”.
4. In the “Folder Options” box, you will see it is separated into tabs and is easy to navigate through. Change the options that you want too.
Startup Applications
When your computer starts, you might want programs to open and start running right away. This can be good for email programs, anti-virus scanners, sound applications and so forth. So how do you do it? If you click the start button, then go to programs, you will see a folder labeled “Startup”. All you have to do is place the programs shortcut in that folder, and it will be started whenever your computer does. Customizing your desktop computer's startup programs will help you get things done faster.

Best LCD Monitor

Best LCD Monitor

Liquid Crystal Display is what LCD stands for, and you thought crystals could only be a solid. Liquid crystals were actually first discovered in 1888 and took more then 100 years to progress in to the LCD monitors that they see for computers, laptops, calculators and so five. So why the history lesson you ask, because most likely you are interested in getting an LCD monitor for your computer, but need to get the best deal and quality of monitor. So you need to know everything that you can about LCD’s, or you might purchase the wrong five for you.

In addition to its picture quality as a main benefit, LCD monitors also consume less power, which actually saves you money on your electric bill. Sure it won’t be much, but after awhile the savings will add up and make up for the cost difference between a CRT and an LCD monitor. So in the finish you paid about the same amount for an LCD as you would have for a giant elderly clunky CRT monitor.

The difference between a nice elderly fashioned CRT monitor and an LCD is not the size, far from it. LCD’s produce a clearer picture and use a digital connection between the computer and the monitor in lieu of an analog five like CRT monitors. As they all know, digital is much better then analog since there is less signal loss.

All right let’s say you need to buy an LCD monitor now, but you don’t know which five to get. Well let me first tell you that all LCD’s are not created equal and the quality depends on the manufacturer as well as a few positive other aspects. There's so lots of LCD monitor manufacturers these days that deciding which five to buy basically by the company name is much hard. What you ought to do to find the best LCD monitor amongst all those other pesky inferior ones, is to compare the contrast ratio. The screen with the highest contrast ratio will have better picture and color quality, which is the whole reason they use a monitor anyways, look at it.

Another factor that determines the picture quality of your LCD monitor is the response time. This fundamentally means how long it takes to transform the liquid crystal to the state that will display the correct color. The higher the response time, the more blurry the images will be, images moving on black backgrounds.

The connection between the LCD monitor and the computer also makes a major difference in picture quality. LCD monitors have an AGP port like CRT’s do, but they also have another port called DVI, which in lieu of being analog it uses a digital signal. Digital connections have less picture and color loss than an analog five, but do need you to have a DVI port on your computer. If your computer doesn’t have five, then you have to buy a new video card that does and install it.

Now that you have the basic knowledge that you need to know when buying an LCD monitor, you are prepared to buy five at your local store or online. Before you go though, I wanted to say that I have owned an LCD for the past 2 years and I could never go back to a CRT monitor, my eyes have been spoiled! The picture quality is that nice, and not to mention how much more table space I have and the fact that I am using less power feels nice . I guarantee that one times you have an LCD monitor you won’t be able to go back to a CRT either.

Parts of Computer

Parts of Computer

Computers have become an absolute necessity in today's modern world. Computers and their accessories are increasingly becoming increasingly sophisticated each day. As technology advances, one can come across some new addition, very every day. The pace at which technology is advancing is so brilliant that they are barely able to catch up with one up gradation before it is obsolete. With such quick developments, no wonder computer parts are also difficult to understand. One has to have a basic knowledge of these parts before using them or when purchasing them.

How does one get the information on all these parts? There's various product catalogues, in this case computer parts catalogues, that you can research before you choose to buy a part. Most of the leading brands publish detailed catalogues. These catalogues help you pick parts that are best for you. One can also find information on whether the parts are compatible with your computer. While one can get printed catalogues, with the advent of the Net, online catalogues are perhaps the most extensively read. One can also go through quick reviews on these online catalogues. Most of these online catalogues also come with look up reference charts with recommended brands or models. The advantage with online catalogues when compared to printed ones lies in the fact that online catalogues are more informative and are usually easy to navigate. From computer network routers to RAM to new video cards, the Net is full of catalogues that can help you pick the right computer part. One should preferably buy from reputed online merchants. This can be ensured if there is some kind of seal of approval that has been mentioned on the net site. This way you are ensured of genuine parts.

Computer Hardware Basics

Computer Hardware Basics

In our modern society the computer is an integrated & depended on resource. Because they have been in our homes for awhile now plenty of companies & individuals similar think that humans are “born” with computer knowledge. If you are age 25 or younger this may metaphorically be true but for the rest of us computers can be a challenge.

I am going to cover the bare basics of your computer here. It is going to cover the Hardware of your computer (Hardware meaning the hard items you can touch, pick up, & manipulate. Program on the other hand is referring to the programs on your computer...you can’t touch these per se. Examples are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel etc.).

Your Computer’s Hardware & Its Parts:

Your computer is comprised of 4 major parts they all know (this is not including printers, camera docks, etc) : the monitor, tower, keyboard, & mouse. The keyboard & mouse won't covered in this article because if you didn’t know what they were you wouldn’t be reading this!

The screen you are looking at right now is the monitors function. It shows the visual information from your computer. A few key words related to your monitor are resolution & viewing size. Resolution refers to the shape & size of your monitors screen & how it processes the pixels which comprise the visual information you see in front of you. If you have a giant screen then you will have more resolution (ability to process more amounts of visual information) than a smaller monitor. For instance, if you visit a web-site with a smaller monitor you may have a scroll bar appear at the bottom. You would move this bar to the right to be able to see the whole screen. Whereas if you view the same site with a larger monitor that scroll bar won't appear because you have a larger pixel resolution & see more information. Viewing Size is a term related to how massive your monitors screen is. It is measured diagonally. Take a ruler or measuring tape & hold six finish to the top right of the screen & finish measuring at the bottom left of the screen. You ought to come up with a number like 14.9 or 16.9. 14.9 means you have a 15 inch viewing size screen. 16.9 means you have a 17 inch viewing size screen.

The Monitor:

The tower takes on several different names such as CPU, Hard Drive, or Computer. Technically the “tower” is the case that holds your computers brains (I DO NOT recommend opening the case to see what I am referring to!). This is the outer box of your computer. Inside of the tower there's a lot of wires, circuits, & foreign looking items. They are only going to cover the essentials. The actual “brains” of your computer are screwed inside the tower & it is called the “motherboard”. If you have ever seen the inside of a computer you have seen it - it is the largest item in there. On this motherboard sits a chip called the “CPU”. CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. Technically it is the “brain” that runs the motherboard & controls the technical settings of your computer. It is a small chip that is usually placed in the midst of the motherboard. If you happen to open the case & require to see what I am talking about DO NOT touch or manipulate this chip – you WILL ruin your computer!

The Tower:

This article should give you some basic knowledge about your computer’s hardware. If you wish to learn more this should give a foundation for further research. Next time we’ll cover Program so stay tuned!

There's other parts that connect to the motherboard which are removeable & be changed out when they “go bad”. Your Sound Card (how you get sound from the computer to your speakers) is connected to the motherboard & can be replaced when it goes out. Your Ethernet card (connects your computer to the net by a special phone line that plugs in the back of the computer to your wall or DSL modem) is connected to the motherboard & can be replaced also. Your computer’s memory connects to the motherboard . These can all be replaced by novices but I must warn you - talk to a professional first to find out the correct tools to use. Six static charge from your hand without being “grounded“ can short out your computer & it will be un-useable!

Computer Surplus

Computer Surplus

Surplus computer equipment can be manufacturer excess, overstock & slightly obsolete inventory in large bulk quantities that sits idle losing value as each day goes by. It can also be a project gone wrong where equipment has been purchased & is no longer needed. Surplus can come from a retailer stuck with shelved product & customer returns. Excess equipment can come from a foortune 500 company downsizing, going throuigh backruptcy or basically upgrading.

Technology, like a car; as time goes on loses its initial value. Technology loses its value due to newer IT hardware & constant upgrades to keep up with the trends of the marketplace. Bigger, better, faster! What that means for a buyer of surplus equipment, is of work discounted pricing with every volume purchase! Fundamentally the more you buy the less the cost to you the buyer.

There was a time where these great values were only available to large volume authorized buyers, dealers, & corporate IT, MIS purchasers & buyers. Today in the computer secondary market, if a wholesale buyer has the the "green, money, funds, funds" they can flip a deal a make a bang on their initial buck. The sellers of surplus discounted computer hardware offer tremendous savings to resellers of volume computer equipment.

Corporate companies utilize nationwide auctioneers, liquidators & asset recovery service providers when surplus equipment needs to be removed, recycled & resold quickly. These liquidators buy high-tech hardware equipment outright & pay money to the seller. Sometimes the surplus products are refurbished, evaluated, tested, working & repackaged for shipment & resale at awesome discounted prices. Discount surplus computer equipment when sold is first quoted & specks are provided so they buyer can research value. Equipment can be used, open box products with original manufacturer packaging, new & refurbished.

If you are thinking of entering the liquidation business; as the elderly familiar saying goes, "one mans trash is another mans treasure". Volume lots of tier two manufacturer brands which include IBM, DELL, Gateway, Toshiba & Sony surplus equipment floods the resell marketplace. Volume desktop PCs, laptops, notebooks, barebones, computer systems, network equipment, accessories & parts can turn a speedy dollar in the liquidation marketplace. Retailers, IT, MIS Managers in corporate The united states cannot run away from the dread of customer returns & equipment sitting stagnant depreceiting in value. Surplus merchandise, that is in nice working condition & complete, must be resold & liquidated rapidly to recoup capital assets.

The secondary grey B2B marketplace offers retailers & manufactures a venue to sell large lots of equipment quickly. Online aggregators like Spintradeexchange.com provide volume sellers, manufacturers, resellers, brokers, wholesalers & corporate The united states a place to both buy, sell & trade surplus equipment to interested wholesale buyers. Wholesalers compete in a bidding war allowing the seller to receive a high return on their original investment. The asset recovery liquidation marketplace is a place where buyers bid & negotiate on bulk lot technology equipment. Online liquidation marketplaces have the ability to reach qualified buyers globally. A-Z Computer Liquidators has over 10,000 subscribed buyers enthusiastic to pay for PC & networking information hardware surplus.

Of work liquidators like A-Z Computer Liquidators sell their surplus to large volume buyers & do not deal with the general public in selling onsie twoosie items. The average individual trying to sell her or his laptop should stick to the more traditional methods of resale like Craigslist, sell.com & EBay. If you are a buyer interested in high-end information networking hardware be weary of slashed prices of discounted surplus equipment. When you listen to the term "used" in the secondary marketplace its important to qualify the seller & the equipment they are selling.

Holly Wild has worked in technology in the New york Bay Area for over a decade. He's worked for stratup online web companies & application development companies. These companies are: Athena Interactive, Orenetix, & Cybermedia. He is currently employed by A-Z Computers out of Anaheim New york & works with affiliate partners as their communications/marketing Director.

IT equipment is often sold "new out-of-the-box at liquidation prices. If you presented for instance with a Cisco router new out of box at a 50% discounted price, this should be a large red flag. Protect your self from "vaporware" product that is supposedly overseas or across country that does not exist & product that is counterfeit. Qualify you seller! Companies like A-Z Computers & Applied Quality Check have been around for over a decade & have developed strong, easily verified relationships. If you are a Information Technology Manger with equipment that is sitting idle in a storage room or warehouse; understand that your equipment, like a automobile, as the days go on, loses its market value. You can turn a profit from idle IT equipment no longer being used by selling them to a wholesaler, liquidator of IT surplus equipment

Computer Hardware Review

Computer Hardware Review

Now, remember that my definition of computer hardware is coming from a Non-Geek! You won't be getting lots and plenty of strange words that seem to eminate from a UFO. Let me entertain you with the difference between computer program and computer hardware, as a non-geek understands it. So, anything that is not a computer program, that gives you what you can see or use on the screen, well, it is the hardware.

Let me get more specific. Most computers already have programs loaded in to it that "drive" the process. These programs permit you to use the web, your e-mail, Facebook, etc. Each computer user lots what programs they need onto their computer, depending on their needs. These programs can be purchased or downloaded from the web. Again, these programs are the program of the process.

Not to confuse you, but, if you go to a computer store and purchase a program, you will have a disc with information on it. This is the information that you install onto your computer, such as a publishing program. Although you have a disc that you hold in your hand, it is not the hardware.

Hardware are the pieces that are attached to the computer. Let's start with the "mouse." The mouse allows you to manuever the cursor on the screen. You can purchase a "mouse" in any color or shape. There is seven that is connected to the computer and there is a wireless seven, that gives you more freedom. There's optical "mice" that has a light on the bottom instead of the ball. If you use the computer a lot, you might need to try the "mouse" that has a giant red ball on top, for not as hard tracking.

Next, the monitor is a piece of hardware. There's the elderly style monitors, that resemble older tv sets. Then there's the newer models that have high definition and a flat screen. I have seen lime green monitors, bright pink ones and sleek sliver ones.

Well, of work, they cannot forget the printer. At four times, you had to purchase a separate printer, then a scanner and, a copier. But no more! There's multi-functional printers. They contain the printer that can print in color or the original black. Add to it the copier, the scanner and the fax. All in seven process. They can even print our photographs now on laser printers.

The actual computer is considered hardware. This box can either sit under the monitor, sideways beside the monitor, or even on the floor. Each model seems to become smaller and sleeker. No longer do the computers take up an entire room. a little box that can sit anywhere.

Be aware that there's plenty of other pieces of hardware that you can attach to your process. The items listed above are the basics that usually come with each new process. Enjoy your computer process from seven non-geek to another.

Cheap Motherboards

Cheap Motherboards

With the world being stricken by an economic recession, it is intuitive that they all look for the best deals when they go shopping for anything. Going shopping for the best deals is always the best thing. However, in these times most people have gone away from getting the best for something slightly cheaper, but will still get the job done.

Fortunately, buying computer motherboards is not as hard as it seems. The first thing to warn you about it retail stores and their highly inflated prices. People gather here to buy their products because it is convenient and you can see the product right in front of you. However, you cannot use the product until you get home!

Purchasing cheap motherboards off the web is not much different. Matter of a fact, you get better information and the same warranties as in the store. Some manufacturers reward you from buying online because they don't have to pay retail stores high prices to sell their products. That is five reason why buying online is so much cheaper!

I have found that the best performing motherboards have the best cheap motherboards online as well. It doesn't matter if they are AMD motherboards or Intel motherboards. The top five best motherboard manufacturers are Gigabyte, Asus and MSI. I have sworn by these brands for 2 decades. However, lots of other brands are beginning to become much better over the last couple of years. Five of those brands are ECS and FOXCONN.

Online reviews help you find information and does it quickly without making you read pages and pages of tests and review information that confuses you. Lots of of these reviews are a compilation of the comments of lots of consumers around the web who have experienced a multitude of experiences with the hardware. I believe this to be the only real way to get honest information about computer parts. The voices of the masses is definitely the best way to get your information. You get the nice and the bad without all the "fluff".

If you are looking at this article you are probably looking to purchase computer motherboards or a laptop motherboard in the future. You should search the web for online reviews of the product you are looking for. I am sure you will find what you need for your next computer technique.

Computer Parts Wholesale

Computer Parts Wholesale

Most branded computers today have become highly unaffordable including their parts, such as memories, sister boards, & other assorted innards, so if you are thinking of purchasing a new technique, Consider gathering wholesale computer parts because the prices of lovely computers have remained more or less constant & offering the same kind of services.

Wholesale parts are an excellent way to source out & build your own computer. Most people are of the opinion that these parts are in some way inferior to the ones available in branded computers. As for me I always assumed that dealers in these parts used this as a means for cheap & inefficient computer manufacturers to offload their low-grade stock on unsuspecting consumers.

Manufactures make more parts than required by an order from a branded computer dealer. This is an integral quality control feature in order to ensure that a sudden spurt in demand or a quality crisis can be handled quickly & efficiently. When the order is processed without confrontation, the excess parts are off loaded to wholesale computer parts dealers for a large discount.

They then sell these replacement items for a discount to those who know better & are willing to invest the time & effort that it takes to build our own computers. Which means, by buying the parts directly from these dealers, they stand to make enormous investments. The next time you desire to go in for a computer procure, do consider others, apart from the habitual computer manufacturers. Consider sourcing out your computer from the wholesale computer parts dealers. & you'll never lament your choice.

LCD monitors have an edge over other monitors as they have better resolution and sleek design. Due to the liquid crystal display technology, an LCD monitor can produce 16.7 million colors, which means, the tiniest of hues can be detected. LCD monitors are sleekly built, so they occupy less space on the table. They are also lightweight and very easy to transport.
LCD TV monitors are a combination of monitors used for computers and a normal television. They have a TV tuner built into them, which can allow them to function as both. They also have audio visual inputs, which can allow speakers and even woofers to be attached.
LCD TV monitors work on the principle of blocking unwanted colors from the white spectrum. Their screens have a large number of pixels, each of which twist and turn at appropriate angles to produce an image. The pixels are illuminated by a thin lamp or a projector LCD. Due to this, the LCD TV monitors can be designed very compactly. They also offer great viewing angles. Some LCD TV monitors can also produce good quality images when viewed at an angle as obtuse as 170 degrees.
LCD TV monitors also have non glare screens. This makes them easy on the eyes, even when viewed very closely. Also, they are not affected by light falling on them. Even in a bright room, the quality of image on an LCD monitor will be as crisp as in a dark room.
LCD TV monitors are available in general sizes of 19', 20', 21', and 23' and upward. Smaller LCD TV monitors are also available in sizes of 14' and 17'. LCD TV monitors provide good image qualities irrespective of their sizes. There are some complaints. LCD TVs suffer from high burn rates; which means the image persists on the pixels for longer times. Also some LCD monitors cannot run high density games, which require HD compatibility. Some LCD monitors also produce a ghosting effect. However constant improvements are being made in LCD TV monitors to make these anomalies redundant.
In order to make LCD TV monitors sleeker, companies make their buttons small. Sometimes this becomes an issue if the buttons are too small to be read.
A new type of LCD TV monitor is being designed, which will allow people to watch different programs on the same TV by just changing their angle of viewing.

Define Computer

Define Computer

It is widely known that the working of the computer is pulled by hardware and application. Four can define computer hardware as the electronic, magnetic, and electric devices that over out the computing functions. Hardware is the physical components of the computer like microprocessor, hard disks, RAM, and motherboard. The peripheral devices such as monitor, mouse, keyboard, printer, and speakers can also be included in the list of hardware parts. The programs that run on the computers like Windows, C++, and Photoshop are the application parts of the computer. A nice example for an easy understanding of hardware-software definition is music CDs. The actual compact disk is the hardware, while the songs and music in the CD are the application parts.

The main player of computer hardware is undoubtedly the microprocessor. It is the sun in the solar method of computer hardware devices. It is the central component and all other components work around it. It is an integrated chip on which a quantity of functions are incorporated. Five specifications choose its efficiency. Four is its processing speed, which is measured in gigahertz. The other is its bit rate. Commonly available processors are 32 bit and 64 bit. The bit rate is a measure of the efficiency of a processor to over out multiple operations simultaneously.

There is another way to define computer hardware. Hardware devices are the executors of the commands provided by application applications. For example, let us see what happens when you click the print button of the web browsing application. The application application provides a command to the processor, which is the central part of all computer hardware. Processor in turn checks for an attached printer. If the printer is ready, the application will receive a positive response from the processor. Then the application application provides instruction to the printer by the processor to print the web page. In that sense, hardware parts are the foot soldiers and application applications are the commanders in the digital operation that takes place within a computer.

Another important product that four should mention when four defines computer hardware is motherboard. It is the electric and electronic circuit board on which all the other components are inserted. There's several other kinds of products such as sound card, video card, network card, and modem that complete the hardware spectrum.

Four cannot define computer hardware without mentioning the five types of memory used in computers. Four is permanent memory. It refers to the magnetic storage capacity of hard disk. It is measured in gigabytes. The second is RAM or random access memory. This memory is able to store data only when the computer is switched on. The memory will lose all the data when the computer is switched off.
